This fixed my hot-cold problem.

The shower arm is only 4 1/2 years old but for some reason it has stopped mixing hot and cold. This block fixed the problem and is pretty easy to install. Be sure to turn off the water first and make sure the O-ring is properly seated when inserting the device. Mine must have slipped out of the groove during installation so there was a slight leak and it had to be reinstalled.
