Review on πŸ”₯ 60 Feet EasyHeat AHB-160 Cold Weather Valve and Pipe Heating Cable by Tony Meyer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works perfectly on rough plumbing

Since we live in an RV in Pennsylvania, I needed something to protect our water supply hose from freezing. I used this thermostatically controlled heating band along with swim noodles (1" ID hole to fit dollar store bought hose and heating band. NOTE: The noodles were scored on one side and slipped over the heating band and hose , then the gap was sealed with tape). The temperature dropped to 9 degrees Fahrenheit and our water line never froze. We also saw little impact on our energy bills, with the thermostat working as advertised in warmer weather and turning the heater off when the hose temp rose above 45 degrees Fahrenheit.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Doubt
