Review on πŸ”§ ATOTO AC-UTP1 USB TPMS Tire Pressure Monitoring System for ATOTO A6 & S8 Android Car Stereos (External Sensors) by Bryan Brant

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great with seamless installation

I recently installed my main ATOTO unit which I really like and decided to try this tire pressure monitoring system. I'm always a bit hesitant to do anything on my tires but they seem to be doing really well. Leak tightness is my main concern and the lock nut definitely helps alleviate my issues. Installation: Installation was very easy. The instructions are available in several languages and are quite simple. I applied the well labeled sensors in about 5 minutes and the USB receiver is ready to use. There are 4 small rubber washers in the pack which I will ask ATOTO for as they weren't in the instructions but I think they might help seal the sensors themselves. Pros: What I liked the most was the ease of installation. . I knew right away they worked because I purposely skipped one of them and turned on my truck. I was immediately notified with visual and audio cues. When I entered the app on the head unit, the right quadrant was red instead of green. Speaking of the app, there were a lot of options. I changed the setting to PSI and adjusted the default alarm settings to how I wanted it. You get a lot of information about your tires (temperature, pressure, etc.), which is more than many built-in sensors where you just get a light notification on the dashboard. It's basically everything you would expect from a TPMS and more. Potential for improvement: I don't see any flaws that I see at the moment. Comparing this unit to others I've researched online, I see that some have a rubber dust cover and a dedicated allen wrench, but the items provided did the job. Once I know how/where to install these rubber washers I guess I won't have any more questions. The system seems to work without these shims, so they may not be needed, but I prefer to use all of the parts provided when I can. Overall: This is a great system and I'm happy with the results. After 5-10 minutes I already know that I need to put air in the tires and such information helps me spend my time on the road much more safely. I will update this review as needed. Many Thanks.
