This is a very good solution to the autoride problem and MUCH cheaper than factory parts (my shop has quoted the repair and replacement at $2800). Easy do-it-yourself installation of course (I have a 2001 Suburban so a 3 ton jack and heavy jacks helped). Installation took about an hour. Be sure to inflate slightly BEFORE lowering the vehicle to the ground as the rubber bladders will roll on their own and become trapped in the shock absorber, which can damage the bladder. It is very important. I also installed a spare Dorman 949-000 compressor, so I had to lift the drive levers to turn the compressor on to inflate, but it was fairly easy. The instructions read like a Chinese restaurant menu (I laughed out loud a few times) but are easy to follow. I actually soldered the resistors instead of using crimp connectors (I hate them). Incidentally, shrink tubing is too short to be used. If I were to do it again I could just install them like a regular air shock and forget about the supercharger change and use a Monroe AK-29 kit instead. If my compressor dies, I will.
