Swami 3000 - Great second piece of equipment

I bought the Swami 3000 last month for my wife who is an avid golfer and addicted to 'my' Skycaddy. I was looking for a cheap and easy to use GPS device that she could use on the days we both play but not together. We both need to have an accurate distance to F/M/B to be able to score well. She first used Swami in a practice round before a tournament outside of town. I had my GPS (which turned out to be very accurate) and she had her new swami. We turned on both devices at the same time. Swami was ready to go about 2 minutes before my GPS. Throughout the round we found Swami was + or - 1 yard or right in the middle compared to Skycaddie. Front and back can differ up to 1/2 club. I can't complain about the way we play. Since then my wife has used Swami herself several times. She loves the ease of use. Tune in on the 1st tee. Large, easy-to-read yards (ideal for over 50 eyes), move forward while recording your score. Perfect for my sweet loving techno tard. We just got back from a round of golf in Arizona. Since we didn't know which courses we were going to play (reseeding) and didn't want to pack a laptop to download the courses into Skycaddy, we went with Swami (19,000 courses preloaded). Swami has worked flawlessly all 7 days. If you want to know everything about the course you are playing and keep stats on your round, pay $400 and buy a fully functional GPS unit like I did. For $90 and accurate F/M/B you can't beat Swami in a great second or backup GPS unit.
