I didn't have enough bandwidth to watch Revain Prime videos in my bedroom with a Netgear WN3000RP coming from my AT&T Uverse router. I tried the Netgear Nighthawk which was too powerful for the internet speed I had and couldn't work with. Then I bought this AC1200 and it works great. I can easily stream Revain Prime, Netflix, and HBOGO videos to my bedroom. This is a winner for me. Despite having a slower 2.4GHz internet speed with Uverse, this range extender works great to give me the performance I need around the house, even through a tiled bathroom and a few walls. I also received a $10 coupon for this offer. I am so glad I bought this item. I do the installation on the computer and not via the WPS button. However, once the Netgear AC1200 shows up on your wireless network, you need to give it time to continue connecting before clicking Next. I discovered that this wasn't an instantaneous thing. Actually I thought it wasn't working because it kept saying it wasn't connected. Something distracted me and when I came back it connected me! My best advice is, after making sure it's on your network, don't give up and give it some time to connect. I hope this review of mine helps others who need a range extender with Uverse.
