I have a 1929 Griswold #8 Large Block pan and never got a nice jet black patina until I used Crisbee. What a fantastic product. I used the stovetop method, increasing the heat to medium until the pan was lightly smoky, then adding very light layers of crisbee a few times at a time with paper towels to keep it slightly smoky and brown. The pan looks great and is as smooth as any Teflon. I would recommend Crisbee to any other oil or product out there.
