Review on DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter Cable, Anbear Male to Female Converter for Desktops and Laptops with DisplayPort Connectivity - Connect to HDMI Displays (1 Pack) by Albert Lee

Will this adapter cause someone else's screen to go black? About every minute, the screen goes black for about a second and then turns back on. Very annoying. I use it to connect my laptop's dock to a monitor as my dock only has a DP port and my monitor has an HDMI port. When I connect the HDMI cable directly from the laptop (not to the docking station) to the monitor, there is no disconnect. I'm not sure if it's a docking station or an adapter, but it doesn't work anyway. OK. At least I was able to initiate a refund on this one as it is less than 30 days old. I'll try a DP to HDMI cable to see if it works better.
