very long legs

These trousers have a slightly lower fit. the fabric is not very soft. I washed them twice hoping they would soften over time. also the length is very long. I'm 5ft 5118lbs with a 30" waist and bought the size small. I have long legs and had to hem them. I cut off 3 inches and now they come down to just below the ankle with the hem. Comfortable, not too tight in the waist.
