I bought about five different saddles and tried them until I found one that was comfortable for me. Any saddle will initially feel fine, but after about a week of using the saddle I feel like I should find a more comfortable saddle. The previous saddle I used before was the Fizik Arione which I used for about a month and the Arione VS which I used for about 4 months previously. I chose this saddle because of the "Spine" concept advertised by Fizik. I wanted to try something at the other end of their Arione saddle spectrum. The Aliante is by far the most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden. The contour shape seems to suit me very well and since riding this saddle I don't think I'll ever need to change or try another saddle. long time. From long 4 hour rides to short hard rides this saddle is about as comfortable as it gets for me. I sometimes move closer to the nose of the saddle with very little discomfort compared to some other saddles. Everyone's butt is different, so all you have to do is find the saddle that suits you. I'm glad I finally found mine.
