Very comfortable, stylish and we build it

I've had this saddle on my bike for two weeks now. This is a game changer. What amazes me is how similar the shape and feel of my original saddle is to the Fizik saddle, but damn... This Fizik saddle is comfortable. I have a black and white frame, so the saddle goes very well with it. Now onto my arms and legs with some new components. 🧐 I paid my shop to adjust the seat to the height of the seat and the distance to the steering wheel.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Expandable

I ride once or twice a week and love to put in 30-50 miles.

I am a beginner and I ride a Trek FX 7.3 hybrid bike. I ride once or twice a week and like to ride 30 to 50 miles. My old seat that came with my bike started hurting my ass after about 20 miles. After that, I'm in pain for the rest of the day. This Fizik seat is now comfortable throughout the ride, love it! It's also very light for those who are concerned about that and appears to be well built so should last a long time.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Expensive

Great place to park your galley.

Yes! The choice of the saddle is very individual. Your ass likes what your ass likes. My ass loves this saddle and I've bought and sold a lot of saddles oh my god. Personally I don't share the whole "animal" flexibility scheme of physics, I'm quite flexible but this is the one that works for me and presumably for those of us who can't touch our toes. There are many young, flexible professionals in this saddle. The most popular Fizik saddle seems awful to me, so try it yourself. Fizik has sample

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Crumpled

Hated that seat! - Parts and components

I'm trying to find a bicycle seat that doesn't hurt when I ride it. I rode the bike almost 1,000 miles and rode about 600 before deciding I needed a more comfortable seat. I saw great reviews about this chair and wanted to love it but it didn't happen. Maybe it works better on men, but I've never felt so uncomfortable on a bike in my life. At one point I took off the shorts I wear over my cycling shorts and tried to sit on them for relief. I rode 32 miles in this seat and I refuse to ride…

Great saddle and didn't pay $250

I'm a "chameleon" on the flex scale of physics. I can put my whole hand on the ground and touch my toes, so I tried the recommended Fizik saddle. Antares VS and it killed me. I've bought a few other brands and all have had some level of discomfort. I saw a clip from Bike Fit Advisor on youtube and he said he had had a lot of success getting people fit with the Aliante. It is assumed that Aliante is intended for "cops", that is, for those who are not flexible at all. I love this saddle. As with…

  • great product
Cons
  • not the best

Comfortable, durable, light enough, reasonable price

I've been driving the Fizik Aliante Gamma for many years now, my current one has almost 20,000 miles on it. This saddle is the "Original" Aliante, newer versions (R1, R3, R5) have a slightly different shape and significantly less padding. I tried R1 and R3, they are more expensive and lighter, but this saddle is more comfortable for me. Comfort beats weight every time. The only way to be sure a saddle is right for you is to ride it. This saddle has a well-deserved reputation for comfort and…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • It's OK

My favourite place!

I bought about five different saddles and tried them until I found one that was comfortable for me. Any saddle will initially feel fine, but after about a week of using the saddle I feel like I should find a more comfortable saddle. The previous saddle I used before was the Fizik Arione which I used for about a month and the Arione VS which I used for about 4 months previously. I chose this saddle because of the "Spine" concept advertised by Fizik. I wanted to try something at the other end of…
