Review on Ekena Millwork COL03X03X35KERW Cabinet Rubberwood by Chris Bradford

Ordered these 5" x 5" columns to complete a kitchen island project for a client before Christmas. It was good value for money and they have a clean look. I was on site to receive this order from UPS, the box they were shipped in was 3 times larger than needed and they were loose and not tied together to avoid movement. I opened the box and saw that they were simply wrapped in plastic and lay loose in a cardboard box. Immediately saw the damage before the plastic was removed. Now the dilemma of returning them and waiting for another set [the week before Christmas] was not the best option due to my completion date and Island Top is already on order/scheduled for installation in 4 days. Now I have to spend hours repairing, filling, sanding and painting before installation. You have a good product, but you don't protect your investment with the right packaging, like a rigid foam case, corner protectors, and tying up to avoid that crap. I've been in the bespoke business for over 30 years and I make sure not to skimp on my clients, you should do the same. Thanks for all the extra work .Ba humbug
