Bought for a small dent on my daughter's car, as well as other possible household needs and future dents (teenage daughters will cause dents like this). Operation is very simple - turn stick on turn on, Turn the lever for more suction, then pull the handle until a dent appears, reverse process. The suction and grip is very impressive, even on the smaller one which was enough for my daughter's dent. Maybe I can see other use cases too. Overall, they're well made and do what they promise - lots of suction and a way to pull on it. Whether or not your dent responds well depends on the type of dent and its size (a larger dent is probably actually easier to repair than a tiny dent).
