I use this as a heater for one of my hummingbird feeders, the ASPECTS 430 Hummzinger Highview Mini Hummingbird Feeder. I built a platform the size of a heating pad and just put a feeder on it. It was 23°F outside this morning, I checked my feeder with a handheld IR thermometer and it was 47°F. So good luck! My wintering lobsters get hot food and I don't have to take the feeder out at night and worry about getting out of bed early to take the feeder outside. Now that I know it works well I've ordered another one for the second feed. Update: It was 14°F last night and my hummingbird feeders were completely runny this morning.
