I've just bought a third replacement LED stop light and decided to toss this indicator with it in my shopping cart. I've seen other drivers on the road using this mod and it always caught my attention when the traffic slowed down. Every time I see it I think it's a great idea. Now I want it for my truck. My 2002 Ford Ranger pickup has a third brake with a built in charge light so the installation wasn't very easy. Both the truck light and brake light have separate ground and power wires, so you may need to use a multimeter to determine which wires need to be connected. For me it turned out to be just red power and black ground on my new flashlight harness. Once this turn signal is properly connected, the light will flash briefly and then briefly several times before remaining constant. Now I feel much calmer when I stop slower.
