In just a few days, the productivity of a small workshop has increased so much that the installation has already paid for itself. However, there are some problems. Two stars deducted due to problems. Another for really very patient and nice customer service. Lotos brand consumables for this machine are EXTREMELY expensive. $110 for ten tips and five electrodes is CRAZY! I call cheating! The cutter itself is an IPT 60. Using any other consumable will void the warranty (ahhh, but how do you know?), so use at your own risk. Anyone other than me would find the standard consumables in this flashlight amazing. Of course, I only use original Lotos consumables! ;) Also, Lotos only produces 1 consumable type for this cutter. SMX! One of the key features of this IPT 60 torch is the different cup/tip/electrode configurations. If Lotos wants to monopolize the consumables market, they should at least try to create a full line of work tips, rather than using $110 universal metal cutting as the only option. The icing on the consumables cake: you receive a tested kit and two replacement tips/electrodes. For example, you should order consumables with this device, because you won't be cutting for a long time with this tiny attachment set. When I received my cutter, the packaging was clearly open. The plasma cutter itself was definitely open and looked like it had been used. Holy smokers, I'll be in touch with the helpdesk immediately. A very pleasant person replied and after listening to my brief but intense tirade, he calmly explained that devices are tested before shipment. I checked the packaging again and it really looked perfect except for the flashlight that was used. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the lantern had hardly been used. I looked at the electrode and saw that the hafnium insert was intact, although it also showed slight signs of wear. This thing comes with a 30 day guarantee so I figured I should listen to a very good person and at least give the car a chance. So I take to the streets with the greatest skepticism. a cut. Steel 3/8. Love. And to a very good man: You were right. After just one cut, the tip changed noticeably. Also, after many cuts, it was in AMAZING good condition. Compared to Cut50 or even ltp5000d, consumables last at least twice as long. (However! This is a flashlight function, not expensive electrodes/tip quality.) It really saves consumables! It is difficult to overestimate the power of this device. Combined with extreme mobility I couldn't be happier. Cuts through thick steel. 4t cool. The 20-gallon, 155-psi compressor is more than enough for hand cutting. The cuts are clean. Slags/slags, if any, are minimal. 220v on a 50 amp machine didn't even get warm. Honestly, it's amazing. For the price it should be. But yes, it definitely is.
