Will not work with a 48V to 12V PoE splitter without special connectors

This device will work fine with standard PoE IP cameras, but will not work with a camera that has a 48- V to 12V PoE Splitter requires the PoE splitter, as evidenced by the lack of a power LED on the splitter. I tried this on 3 different splitters and they all didn't work. I solved the problem. I've found that the extender's output ports don't power the expected positive power supply pins 4 and 5, or negative power supply pins 7 and 8. To use a 48V to 12V active PoE splitter, you must use an adapter cable between the extender PoE and a PoE splitter. This cable should have 2 positive leads for pins 4 and 5 shorted together and 2 negative power supply pins 7 and 8 shorted together. This modification works well.
