Review on Bilstein 33 253190 33253190 Shock Absorber by Will Lockhart

Amazing rebound control in BOTH directions. Really tamed my 2018 F150 4x4 Super Crew Cab especially when towing a 7500 lb trailer. Very satisfied. On this 67-year-old car, it took about 45 minutes to replace both without having to jack up the car or remove the wheels. THANK YOU FORD! The front struts are spiral, each takes about 1.5 hours and costs about $125 each. I think I'll do it before winter. These shock absorbers were recommended to me by a Helweg Suspension representative at a dealership. Neither he nor his company sell shock absorbers, but they know about suspension components. The rep I spoke to has the 5100 series on all of their heavy trailers that they use for the show. He tried others but always went back to 5100 Bilstein. I would add that a couple of other air carrier factory reps kept insisting that their airbags would fix my ride or the forward Saud. I need new stops etc. I can't believe how it went and after speaking to someone who has a lot of experience using these unskinned ones in game to sell shock absorbers I thought I'd give it a try. Thanks to Bilstein for an incredible shock and thanks to Helweg for being a very well known works representative at the show. I don't want to embarrass him, so I didn't mention his name. Ron
