Review on 🍳 Stainless Steel 15-Piece Cookware Set by Amazon Basics - Pots, Pans, and Utensils by Hector Trung

Great pots, thick and flat bottom, riveted handles

First things first. The bottom of the pans is thick and flat. This ensures even heating and also keeps the heat very well. The stainless steel in the rest of the pot is also quite thick and will certainly stand up to some wear and tear. The handles are attached with rivets and are all attached very securely. If you have ever bought pots online you know how painful it is to receive something that is bent or not as flat as you would like. I own several of these kits. These pans are very shallow. I always check this by using a sheet of paper and placing the edge on it. This way you can see how flat the pan is and they pass this test with flying colours. I will be replacing my current pans with these as they are much better quality. All pans have loops on the end of their handles for easy hanging. The loops are wide enough to hang from almost any hook in your kitchen. Decent quality dishes. Not as good as pans but still decent. The only thing I don't like about them is that where the handles connect to the rest of the parts, they aren't sealed at all on the top or bottom. Water will get in there and it will be very difficult to 100% dry them if you live in a humid climate like mine. If they sealed that part it would be much better. This listing currently offers a set of 11 and 15 items. A 15 piece set is basically a 10 piece set as the 5 pieces are utensils like grinding spoons, spoons, slotted spoons etc. They're nice to have if you don't already have one, but I would definitely go with the 11 piece no cookware set unless this is going to be a starter set for my house.

Pros
  • Stainless steel riveted handles stay cool when cooking on the stove
Cons
  • Upgrades
