Review on Crochet Needles Beginners American Letter by Morgan Gilmore

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good set for the price!

I have been knitting for over 45 years and have always used thin metal hooks. But at 56 my hands get a little tired so I wanted to try these. I was hesitant about the thicker rod but very happy with them. I quickly got used to thicker crochet hooks and I haven't crocheted a marathon yet :) my hands don't hurt anymore afterwards. The small scissors are quite sharp and very handy. The tapestry needle bottle isn't the flimsy cheap plastic I've encountered - the body cracked and the cap failed to hold) but this is excellent with a good needle set. The tote bag is a bit flimsy with a not very good zipper. But that is secondary for me - I have others.

Pros
  • SMOOTH Crochet Hooks: The polished aluminum needle is perfectly shaped for smooth crocheting. After a few buffs, our smooth-tipped needles won't snag or chip.
Cons
  • Expensive
