Bliss in a Package goes well with wheels

TLDR: These wheels won't hold you back if anything does. These wheels and bearings are bliss in a package. I've had my old wheels for about 4 years so you can imagine the wear and tear on them. Dirty bearings, broken wheels and gritty, noisy rides. I decided I had to bite the bullet and invest in new wheels and bearings - man I'm glad I have them. When I first received my package I was dismayed to learn that I had only received 7 wheels. I couldn't ride with four wheels on one foot and three on the other. Trust me I've tried and it's not fun. Maybe the 8th got lost in delivery or didn't fit in the package at all. However, I contacted the seller and said I only have 7 wheels and asked if they could help. They got back to me after 2 days, very apologetic and promised me they would send me my 8th bike as soon as possible. In fact, I will receive a single wheel in a few days, thus completing my purchase. I mounted the bearings in my wheels, which was very easy by the way, and installed them in my inline skates. I went outside to check on them. oh screams. You were amazing. The wheels rolled silently. The bearings were well lubricated. Not to mention the acceleration. The time it took me to go from static to high cruising speed was halved compared to what I was used to with my old wheels. I had just enough grip on the tarmac. My skateboarding arena is a city: sidewalks, streets, cobblestones, ledges, ramps, you name it. The stiffness of the bike is just right for me to take sharp turns and not skid, but it's slippery enough that I can easily switch to reverse. If you love jumping over things, onto things, or down, these wheels are for you. I've never had a problem with sticky landings. I always felt safe no matter how smooth or rough the road surface was. For reference, I'm using Andra's Fitness 2012 K2 Sports Women's Fitness Inline Skates. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about these wheels as I had never heard of them before. I'm pretty picky; I didn't want to spend a lot of money just to ride some cheap plastic bikes. I wasn't sure if they would hold up. Surprise, surprise - they are. I've had these wheels and bearings for about a month now and have inline skated at least 20 times (two of them in the rain). There are no cracks or signs of brittleness on the wheels themselves, and the bearings provide excellent protection from small stones and dirt. Just thinking about these wheels makes me smile. Damn, I could go inline skating right now.
