Treat yourself (in the block) this summer!

Wow what an upgrade! I knew my blades needed new wheels, but didn't know it would really make a difference. I only ride LA paved trails or roads and as you can imagine they can be very rough or have a lot of cracks. These wheels gave me renewed confidence in how smoothly they roll over cracks or rougher paved areas and how well they grip the road. Yes they are expensive but IMHO they are worth it. I bought these before they went to Prime and the shipping was very fast. Ordered on Monday andโ€ฆ

Good wheels and durable. Exactly 80.0mm

This is better than standard wheels. I drive every day and wear out the stock tires quickly. I spin the wheels by measuring the diameter with calipers and keep a fleet of wheels (currently 16 wheels) to choose from. I order them from largest to smallest, back to front. I have to change them every 2 uphill rides and every 4 flat rides. These tires stand up to heavy use and many descents and climbs with slip stops, forward and reverse, and slip to slow down on the way down. Hills quickly destroyโ€ฆ

Amazing Grip!: Wheels

We use our blades outdoors on cobbled streets and sidewalks. We go out 2-3 times a week for 2-3 hours. My husband loves to go all out and train properly. He wears out his wheels a lot. We just received it yesterday and installed it straight away. He loves her! He says they stick to the ground without slipping and he can actually fly. They are extremely smooth even in the roughest areas that we pass. He couldn't be more excited. He previously used stock wheels on the men's Zetrablade 80 skateโ€ฆ

Best thing I've used in 16 years

I used inline skates for cross country skiing on asphalt for 16 years in spring, summer and early fall. I estimate that I ride my runners about 1500 miles a year. Multiply by 16 years and I have about 24,000 miles of experience. These are the best bikes I've ever had! What surprised me is that they (80mm 85a) are extremely durable and have fantastic grip (I do tight single track slalom turns on steep hills to control my downhill speed). (Speaking of speed, my GPS recorded a top speed of 49 mphโ€ฆ

Bliss in a Package goes well with wheels

TLDR: These wheels won't hold you back if anything does. These wheels and bearings are bliss in a package. I've had my old wheels for about 4 years so you can imagine the wear and tear on them. Dirty bearings, broken wheels and gritty, noisy rides. I decided I had to bite the bullet and invest in new wheels and bearings - man I'm glad I have them. When I first received my package I was dismayed to learn that I had only received 7 wheels. I couldn't ride with four wheels on one foot and three on

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are new competitors
