Review on πŸ”Œ Rekidm Powered USB Hub 3.0 with Extra Power Supply Port & Adjustable Clamp - Space-Saving Silver Desktop Hub for PC, Computer and Table Edge by Mark Adlesh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Partly wireless around your desktop

Good: attaches to a desk, clamp works well, is stable, out of the way, sure. Very compact and I only occasionally need an extra USB connection currently chained to a wired keyboard/mouse and a spare cable to charge/sync my Mac and iPhone desktop. They work fine. As an intermittent connection for a camera, flash drives work well. Double plus no good: When attempting to move a disk reader from a desktop port to this hub, the reader would not accept disks of any kind. Switched the reader back to connecting directly to the Mac, works fine as always. There is no diagram in the minimum documentation received with the hub, so I'm not sure if I misunderstood the connection, but a diagram on the Revain sales page (presumably from the manufacturer) indicates that it uses it to connect a drive can be. Network: less clutter on the table, more no ports for peripherals, can't connect a device that seemed like a good candidate, opened a network of 3 ports after using one on the back of the computer to connect this hub. Normal result, not 5 stars or even 4.

Pros
  • High-quality 4-port USB hub made of aluminum alloy: High-quality material ensures durability, fast heat dissipation and its slim design blends well into any environment. Turn one of your computer's USB ports into 4 USB 3.0 ports to meet your different transfer and expansion needs
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
