My kids love scooters. They had hard wheeled kids models for about 5 years and they were worn to the bone. My daughters just turned 9 and 10 and ready for something harder. Pros: Very strong and high quality tires. They have a large profile and are real rubber tires. 5 minutes first time - Can definitely be used on tarmac and dirt roads and maneuvered over decent bumps. Cons - I can't think of anything. I have seen several photos of punctures and am very surprised at the damage. The weight capacity is 220lbs and I imagine if someone is 220lbs and trying to do stunts they are in trouble. Children shouldn't have any problems! At least I didn't have any and they used them on about 10 miles of road.
