Great birthday gift for a 10 year old!

We bought this for our ten year old daughter's birthday and she absolutely loves it. We have a gravel driveway and a large field and grass pitch that we wanted her to have. We have four other scooters that other kids use that need to be on the pavement most of the time (cool anyway) but this one is my favorite for its versatility. It will also last much longer than others as it is much stronger.

Pros
  • Great price

An improvement over the original

. He's just a bit rough with an old-school scooter, so I thought it was better that way. This scooter is great. Loved the air filled tires. The handlebar is attached like a bicycle without a quick release. The only thing is that it's made of steel. It's a solid construction, but also very heavy. My son loves dirt jumping and skateboarding so an aluminum frame would be a much better choice. That's why it's 4 stars and not 5 stars.

Pros
  • . High marks for support and durability from testers.
Cons
  • . Frequency

Great scooter! for scooters

I bought this to commute to work as it is a 3 minute walk. Part of it is covered in gravel and potholes and he runs over it like a champ. Very easy to assemble, comes with an Allen key. The tires need to be pumped up which is a bit difficult as the tires are small but doable. I'm 5ft 6" tall and I'm comfortable gripping the wheel while driving. Oh, and did I mention it's TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!? I will be the envy of all my colleagues.

  • Consistent test results

Doesn't work, Super Offroad

We live outside of town and have a gravel driveway. My 5 year old and 9 year old can easily drive our driveway, grass, dirt roads and love jumping! We bought a red scooter from Amazon and a black one from walmart.com. The scooter doesn't fold but I think that makes it more durable for my adventurous boys! *Easy to assemble and comes with the necessary tools. *Rear tire deflates a little - easy to inflate. GripsI have no doubt that with frequent use this scooter will last a LONG time!

Safe and durable for skates, skateboards and scooters

This is the second model that we buy. We now have 2+ years. Significantly better than typical children's scooters with small wheels. Advantages: - robust and strong: knocked on asphalt many times; A few scratches but nothing to complain about - sure: kids have used it on flat country lanes and it works as advertised. It's slow and requires a lot of strength to move, but it can negotiate normal pebbles and rocks on a dirt road. Cons: - Not intended for adults; The arm is too low. When the kids…

  • Almost everything is fine

How much is it? good for scooters and gear

That's a beast! I live halfway up the steep hillside of the area. I went sledding and found it surprisingly fast. Studded tires make noise on the sidewalk. This animal is also stable. I weigh 180lbs for a size 5-7 fitting my 4 year old in full protective gear in front of me. Of course I ride on the brakes. It works, but I also prefer flintstone style if needed. I've parked it on my skateboard a couple of times and its heavy weight shows. It's not a clever trick, unless maybe I was brave enough.

Very strong easy to assemble scooter

My kids love scooters. They had hard wheeled kids models for about 5 years and they were worn to the bone. My daughters just turned 9 and 10 and ready for something harder. Pros: Very strong and high quality tires. They have a large profile and are real rubber tires. 5 minutes first time - Can definitely be used on tarmac and dirt roads and maneuvered over decent bumps. Cons - I can't think of anything. I have seen several photos of punctures and am very surprised at the damage. The weight…
