I love adding so many ports to a product. I have a Google Pixel Book that comes with a fast processor and a half terabyte solid state drive. But it only comes with two USB ports, both Type-C. That's all. So this product is perfect. In one fell swoop I created 11 new ports on my pixelated laptop. It's nice to see an increase in speed when plugged into USB 3.0 ports. It's also interesting to read my USB 2.0 refurbished stuff, so I like both types of connectors and I like them individually as you suggest. This 3.0 is really fast and if possible I'll be there. I'm not currently using HDMI or Ethernet ports for a direct connection, but will update this review if I do. I've had it for a week and have nothing but good things to say about it. I bought it with my own money because I needed it (as I explained) and it wasn't set up for free or just mailed to me like some manufacturers do or something. It's also nice that they add a padded drawstring pouch that goes perfectly with the product. That's where I keep mine except when I plug it into my Pixelbook and use it. I award 6 out of 5 stars ("new mathematics" 😃)
