Scale illegible

I just returned this key without using it. And here's why: The wrench has two scales: one on the wrench body with basic units (2.26nM, 4.52nm, etc.) and the other on the rotating bezel with smaller units (0.2nM, 0.4nM etc.). . To determine the torque setting, add the readings from the two scales. The problem I found was that when I lined up 0 on the rotating sleeve with the scale on the wrench body, the sleeve fell right between two numbers on the scale and it was not clear if the measurement was correct. larger or smaller number. You can see it in the photo, the scale on the collar is set to 0, but the collar reading is between 2.26 and 4.52 nM so you can't tell which one to use. This was true for all scale readings, both nM readings and inch-pound readings. In addition, the numbers on both scales are very small and low-contrast, making them very difficult to read even with reading glasses. So there didn't seem much point in having a torque wrench if you couldn't tell what value it was set to. I contacted the seller about this but their response didn't help so I sent it back. Since I've used it before and can't confirm its quality, I'm giving it three stars.
