I had a total of 4 Duralast (AutoZone) generators installed on my 03" Altima 3.5 since the original failed. On average they cost about $210, with one Coupon it can be a little less. The longest life I've had on one of these was about 3 years. The rest fell under that. At $91, made in China or not, this replacement seemed like it given the age of the car and the reluctance robbing the bank being a breeze I took on the job (which is a bit PITA) but the alternator fits perfectly, no installation issues, very quiet, no obvious bad diodes/bearings etc and outputs the correct voltage I am back and running for now 4 stars in the time span as the real story is told with their lifespan I can give a start to this company as they are quite g received great reviews. The only cheaper option would be to buy from a parts store, but if you don't know the car's mileage, it's an obvious gamble.
