Didn't work right away

Damn a project to replace the damn thing and they haven't responded to reports that it didn't work. Wouldn't suggest. Or at least test before installing, as I would like.

For the price it works (so far). Half .

Works for the price (so far). Half of what you would pay in Autozone. If it works in a year; what we will see. As difficult as installation is, simply replace the V-ribbed belt at the same time.

On my sons 2003 Altima

Worked great on my sons 2003 Altima. The only problem was that the electrical connector was a little tight when I plugged it back in. At first I had zero power on the generator. I thought I had a bad one, but it turned out to be a minor issue. Hope this lasts a while. I will update so you know.

cheap power generator. worked from the start. very cool

the car was over 16 years old and finally the air conditioning didn't work well. The tow truck said the alternator wasn't charging properly. We lugged it home, I attached a meter and watched some YouTube videos on how to check the voltage level with and without an AC load. In fact, that seems to be the problem. The battery seems to be normal, but it's not enough for peak loads. It was very difficult to get the old one out with the jammed collar nuts. I had to use a dremel to cut them off and…

Hell price...not much to lose

I had a total of 4 Duralast (AutoZone) generators installed on my 03" Altima 3.5 since the original failed. On average they cost about $210, with one Coupon it can be a little less. The longest life I've had on one of these was about 3 years. The rest fell under that. At $91, made in China or not, this replacement seemed like it given the age of the car and the reluctance robbing the bank being a breeze I took on the job (which is a bit PITA) but the alternator fits perfectly, no installation…
