Review on ⚡️ Milwaukee MA911B Electrode Electrolyte: A High-Performance Solution for Accurate Electrode Calibration by Austin Arvayo

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Slower than other electrodes; Suitable for hobbyists

I calibrate this electrode about every 2 weeks (2 times a month) and it works perfectly but after a while the electrodes are (fragile but it worth it if you can afford it) and a Bluelab pH probe ($ and plastic like this but with a double ceramic diaphragm). Choose from even more expensive probes from traditional (and expensive) companies like Thomas Scientific, Cole Parmer etc. I usually go for cheap plastic probes like these, but based on feedback on how Amazon treats Bluelab probes - letting them dry - I decided to try this product instead I have this probe on a Bluelab and Denver Instruments UP -10 f/mV meter tested combined After calibrating Denver on first use it reported that the probe's performance is at 96% My biggest problem with this he electrode is the response time. Bluelab sensor, you can move the sensor and stir it a little and after 20-30 seconds you should get a stable reading. I have to leave this electrode for a few minutes! To keep this time reasonable, I compensate by taking a very small sample - about the same volume as the amount of storage solution that should be in the cap - and then I can expect it to clear up in less than 5 minutes stabilized. TL; DR: Good combination measuring chain at a reasonable price and fast delivery. Recommended for amateur use but not recommended if you are checking or using your gauges/electrodes as tools you rely on. Too slow for laboratory or process control, has only one connection and uses a fabric/fiber connection.
