I bought this modem without hesitation because TWC has a limited list of "approved" cable modems, most of which are quite expensive ($70 and up). When it arrived I had problems with the original modem that TWC installed (I couldn't run DirecTV and cable internet on the same line in my house because the modem was interfering with the line and cutting out satellite communication). I connected this modem and within a minute all my devices including the satellite went green. All I had to do was call TWC and tell them the MAC address of the modem, let them do their thing on their side, then reboot everything and it worked. Same baud rate on speedtest.net as with TWC modem. A VERY simple process that pays for itself in just 4 months (modem is $25 and TWC charges $5.99 monthly + taxes to "rent" their modem). Highly recommended!
