Review on 🧹 Stanley 4.5 Gallon Stainless Steel Tank Wet/Dry Hanging Vacuum with 4 Horsepower by Jose Guzman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I bought two of 1000 sqm. ft. shop

I have had two of these Stanley wall mounted vacuums for six months now. I have a 1,000 square foot shop with a blasting cabinet. One vacuum is used for the media cabinet and this area of the store, the second is at the other end of the store by the main lift door. The 18ft hose allows me to reach almost the entire magazine without removing it from the mount, and where it doesn't stretch I remove it from the mount to add length. You can see the round wall mount piece I made to hold the hose when not in use. This is a part that really should come with the vacuum as nothing is provided to keep the 18ft hose off the floor. I cut a piece of 2-1/4" OD PVC pipe as thick as hose and used a hole saw to cut a 1/4" round piece of plywood, drilled a hole in the center, painted it and fastened it. with a bolt on the wall, works great! It handles media cabinet dust satisfactorily, and I've used both aluminum oxide and glass beads with it. I clean the filter as needed, everything works. I've looked at more expensive wall-hung vacuums with 30ft hoses, but found that I can buy two of these for less than one of the 30ft hoses and not have to lug around and haggle a 30ft hose. with trailer. The hose is very flexible and comes with good tools. Lots of suction too! I recommend it. Just an update on my previous review. For those who want the best dust control and suction power, use a disposable paper bag, especially when used with a blast cabinet. The washable blue filter is suitable for larger particles such as sawdust and car carpets. etc.
