Matte black looks great but picks up a lot of fingerprints. This is well known and not surprising. Reading the reviews shows that this can be an issue and only needs a cloth soaked in alcohol to clean, but it's just more noticeable than the shine. The application was adequate, even for a beginner. I spent a lot of time with the cut tape to get "perfect" butt seams, but in the end I settled on a slight overlap. After heating, the vinyl adheres well to the seam and is poorly visible. You have to look for bugs to find them. I've attached a picture of a bike, I applied that too. Lots of complex turns that required significant stretching. The film was acceptable enough, although as expected it broke when it went too far. I gave two stars for the company. RVinyl cuts and wraps 3M products and adds accessories. See the photos above for the tears in the film. The RVinyl cut was definitely wrong and ripped the sheets. I ordered two of these and both broke the same way. It makes me wonder how many other torn sheets have been sent. Your delivery (via Revain?) was much later than advertised and put my project on hold. It would be better to buy elsewhere. When I asked RVinyl about it they blamed Revain even though my shipment came from them anyway. Her ignorance of the fact that her name was associated with a product on Revain that continued to show faster shipping AFTER I ordered, ignoring the customer was very disappointing. Then you will find it torn as shown in the photos. I would recommend a product but not from RVinyl. Find another company that sells it.
