When I ran out of 3M tape I just bought all masking tape from Amazon. It's just painter's tape so I thought what's the difference with the brand? This brand of masking tape does not work as advertised. It does not peel off easily within 14 days. I used it on exterior windows for 7 days which resulted in adhesive residue sticking to the window. When peeling off the tape, it does not come off easily and just breaks into pieces. If you accidentally tangle the tape with adhesive sides stuck together, discard the piece as it will become unusable as the adhesive will simply separate on one side. I noticed that the tape that was peeled off cannot be reused. In my application I like to reuse the tape and this brand of adhesive is no longer sticking. I didn't even finish the role. I went to the hardware store and bought a 3m/Scotch brand reel that works WITHOUT the previously mentioned problems.
