The new car needed the right cable, that's what I needed.

I needed the right cable for a used Passat I just bought to be able to connect it directly to the audio system and charge it at the same time. This cable fits perfectly into the car's MDI port, the phone plug is slightly larger than the Apple plug so it fits snugly in the case I'm using - the only reason for the 4 stars overall.
