I wasn't expecting the best construction/materials - fact is that function matters.

Why is it so hard to find a tire that isn't complete garbage? For the price I didn't expect better construction/materials - the thing is, on a functional level they are useless. The inner and outer hoops don't align properly or run together so no matter how hard you twist them, the fabric slowly but surely slips out of his grip. It's bad at the best of times, but mostly because I bought it to sell my art to hang. Also, there are ugly little holes in the wood. I've never seen that in an embroidery hoop. I would return them if I didn't have time for hoops at the moment. But yes. Don't buy this.
