I installed it professionally for $85 and it worked great. I really like that it is an interchangeable mirror and it has a very short activation time (1 second). I've been using it for 4 months with no problems. I drive a tiny Chevy Spark and it's very difficult to back out of a parking lot on a sloping street because you can't see the cars next to you. Now I can with this reversing camera. I could have spent less but didn't want less since I was investing in a camera anyway. This camera could have been installed by anyone with little mechanical skill, but I'm 67 now and wanted someone else to install it. I am very happy with this purchase.
