Review on 💪 Enhance Efficiency and Power with the Gates AX39 Tri-Power Belt by Bob Taylor

This belt is used on the Craftsman Table Saw. It replaced a badly worn original timing belt. This is a much more flexible belt than the original V-belt. I tried replacing the belt with the original type and I had severe vibration when running and shaking when starting and shutting down. The timing belt all but eliminated this, resulting in a much quieter and smoother saw. I think this is a better solution than a pivoted belt as rapid wear seems to be an issue with pivoted belts. Timing belts seem to be my go-to choice for power tools when both durability and smooth operation are required. In this regard, Gates also seems to be a bit better than other similar belts.
