Stylish, safe accessory for cyclists

I hate buying things that aren't thoroughly tested, but I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. I tried this because I used to use a clear top top tube bag for my phone, but I had a few issues with it. I felt like (1) the bag was too close to me and I really had to take my eyes off the road to check my phone. (2) It's difficult to access the power or volume buttons, and (3) the case doesn't look good. This mount solves all of those problems. It's a really elegant and safe way to access your phone while cycling to listen to GPS tracking and/or music. Your phone is largely mounted parallel to the wind for minimal drag. Your phone is closer to your hands for easier access. The mount fits under a standard 32mm headset plug and fits perfectly. Your phone is inserted directly into the holder, then twist the small locking lever to secure the phone to the holder. To get out, turn back the locking lever and turn the phone clockwise. It really is an ingenious system. I would personally recommend this binding for most riding styles (road, gravel, light trail). It's damn safe and I think it'll be good on pretty bumpy terrain too. I wouldn't recommend it for serious mountain biking if there's a risk of throwing the bike away. If your bike tips over or falls, even if it doesn't detach from the mount, your phone is still vulnerable and easily damaged. A few more tips and notes: + After installation, the bracket may bend slightly. or down to set your phone's preferred angle. - When the phone is fixed on the bracket, there is a slight rotational play. However, it still seems very safe. Before installing the bracket, be sure to write down the tightening torque value of the headset screw. If you don't have a torque wrench, your local bike shop can install one for you. I recommend buying a special phone case to attach the mounting plate. Make sure it has a smooth, non-textured backing so the panel can adhere securely.
