Purchased to convert a triple crank into a 1x. The supplied chainring bolts are too short for the thickness of the spider and don't offer a proper hold. Do not use the supplied sprocket bolts when converting a 3x or 2x crankset to 1x! Use original sprocket bolts. The star itself looks very nice - well made and surprisingly sturdy. I haven't weighed it or cared about the weight since I bought this 38T to turn a 700c hybrid into a 1x bike. My biggest complaint is that the graphics are overdone and bright. I would have preferred a solid color chain but the price is right.
