Review on Dorman 77096 Driver Replacement Exterior by Sammie Prince

I ordered this Dorman unit thinking it was a good enough imitation like most of their products. As others have said, everything is plastic except for the handle/inner lever and pivot bar. This includes the struts holding the pivot bar, which carry most of the load, so it's only a matter of time before one of the struts breaks. As another reviewer mentioned, the threaded metal insert for the mounting screws pops out of the plastic mounting holes easily if you're not very careful. Also, the plastic body isn't as deep as the OEM, so I don't know if that affects usability with a glove. OEM is much more expensive but will save you time and money.
