I saw this on Pinterest being used as a tea infuser and immediately decided to find it because I love tea and ridiculous tea accessories love. The size is quite reasonable for a regular cup and mug, compared to about the size of my palm (a little wider at the widest point at the bottom, a little longer at the longest point at the top). strain the tea leaves. Here's the catch: have a steady hand and pour the tea onto the leaf fairly slowly and evenly. The holes in the leaf are very small which is great for catching all those tiny bits of tea leaf but also means the water is slow flowing and can easily overflow. So by all means, proceed slowly and carefully when pouring your tea and be prepared for the occasional small spill. Overall, he did a good job catching all the tea leaves. Definitely better than my regular strainers (which you fill with tea leaves and dip in a mug). I was positively surprised. The only other downside is that small bits of tea leaf can get stuck in these tiny holes and are a bit of a hassle to clean. But I've found that a good bristle brush will remove them all with a little patience.
