They don't tell you where your pH should be, but a simple Google search (or ask your OB/GYN) will tell you this: PH refers to the acidity in the vagina. A vaginal pH of 3.5-4.5 indicates that there is an ideal level of good bacteria (lactobacilli) and no overgrowth of bad bacteria that can cause odor, irritation and sometimes infection. In extreme cases, the result of too many bad bacteria is bacterial vaginosis (BV). Knowing this, you can contact your gynecologist or doctor if it is below or above this level.
