Simple, fast and inexpensive

It's simple and fast and above all inexpensive. They don't tell you where your pH should be, but a simple Google search (or ask your OB/GYN) will tell you this: PH refers to the acidity in the vagina. A vaginal pH of 3.5-4.5 indicates that there is an ideal level of good bacteria (lactobacilli) and no overgrowth of bad bacteria that can cause odor, irritation and sometimes infection. In extreme cases, the result of too many bad bacteria is bacterial vaginosis (BV). Knowing this, you can contact

I had a bacterial infection which was perfect (uh not quite but

doing what it's supposed to do lol) so I could see the difference. It turned a darker green as I used my Q Tip to take a tampon and apply the highlight to the strip. When the infection went away I took the swab again and then it showed results of 3.5-4.0. TMI? May be! But it works! And the best part is that you can choose the number of strips you want to use! :D The box was well sealed and packaged. This is a very small piece. (See photos)

0-14 bands would be better.

I'm giving these 3 stars because I'm not sure if it's user error or what, but they were basically useless to me. I could never figure out what the PH was by comparing the strip to the colors (it wasn't always the same shade, but I could never figure out what matched on the scale). I personally think it's easier to use your own. Intuition (you know when something is wrong!). You can use tea tree oil to treat almost anything because FYI TTO works on both bacteria and yeast (and works way faster…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Disappear
