Review on πŸ¦› Hippo Sak Tall Kitchen Bags with Handles, 13 Gallon - Plant Based (45 Count) by Jeff Young

So far, so good! for household items

Eco-friendly garbage bags are often a HUGE SCAM. Beware of sellers who advertise their bags as biodegradable. There is nothing biodegradable in the landfill. Despite the debate about how to buy and use garbage bags responsibly, there is no perfect answer. I'm on the side of what bags are made of. While each has its downsides, I generally opt for plant-based plastic bags or recycled plastic bags. I am very happy with this bag. It fits my trash can perfectly and I prefer two handles to a drawstring! Makes the tie more secure yet easier to wear. My first test of strength was washing the fridge. I don't know about you, but my heaviest garbage bags are always the result of cleaning the fridge. This bag was so heavy and stuffed, so jam-packed that I thought of putting it in two bags, but it ended up not being necessary. The bag carried all the weight down three flights of stairs and into a dumpster with no problem. As long as it's minimal, I'll keep buying them. I'll update if I find anything troubling.

Pros
  • USDA Certified Biobased - Made from plant-based materials (sugar cane) instead of fossil fuels
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
