Review on Janome Plastic Bobbins: Essential Accessories for All Home Sewing Machines by Linda Diaz

Despite being advertised these bobbins do not work in the Sewist 740DC. I emailed the company before I bought them and they said they work. Well, not if you hear the clatter of the machine as you sew. I swapped out the bobbin for the one that came with the machine and the problem was solved. I thought they were exchangeable but I don't think so. Lost in this game. I will call Janoma, investigate and update this review. Update: Janome could not be contacted. They keep redirecting you to the dealer. Upgraded to 3 stars because I tried a different spool from this pack. and it seems to work. Maybe it was just that the first one I used was faulty or somehow defective. As I said above, I contacted Richmond Hill, the seller, and they didn't give me any specific information. They should be able to reply and confirm that it fits the particular model. So for now I would say it works. It shouldn't be that difficult to get the information you need to make an informed purchasing decision. I need more rolls but I will not order as there are no returns. I'd rather pay more and buy from a local dealer. Hope that helps.
