Well it just doesn't work with an ls motor head. The compression angle was wrong no matter how you put it together. I managed to compress the springs a bit, but it bottomed out long before you could remove the latches. It also doesn't screw upside down, even with the included spacer. If I hadn't noticed he hit the ground or used a punch he would have broken my head or at least ripped the rocker cords off. Whoever designed this has never touched a valve spring or even seen an electric motor. Better spend your money and get the right thing. Or go to O'Reillys and get a universal one. I also got a bad one from an autoquest. I don't understand why it is so difficult to make a working valve spring compressor.
