I've been using this monitor for about 2 years both for gaming and making music.1. I have no complaints about games. Minimal lag and great image quality when using PS4 Pro. I play a lot of MLB and in case you didn't know, the swing timing is so finely tuned that every millisecond counts. Immediately I noticed a much higher percentage of accurately calculated vibrations on this monitor compared to others. The Dirt Rally 2.0 also looked great and was always crisp.2. To work on Mac. Over the course of 2 years I've tweaked the settings, searched the forums, changed the seat and monitor positions, adjusted the lighting, added a true white light bias, pretty much everything to reduce the eye fatigue I get from white on this monitor. It's hard to explain, but white always seems TOO bright, regardless of contrast, brightness, or color settings. To make matters worse, when panes are moved around the screen, there are significant changes in color and brightness that my eyes can't adjust to. Because I'm making music, I'm constantly switching between different views, windows, font sizes, etc. The fact that my eyes have to adjust depending on the direction I'm looking at the monitor makes it very difficult. Like I said, I've tried pretty much everything and the best solutions I can think of have made even having a 4k monitor worthless. Either increase the distance to the monitor and reduce the resolution, lower the brightness and contrast settings so you always have a dark screen, or just avoid all white. Maybe I'm an idiot and all the settings are wrong. Maybe there are others who have exactly the same problems as me and have bought a new monitor instead. Anyway, I've been trying to get it working for so long, but I'm finally throwing in the towel and shutting down.
