Overall, I liked this monitor, although I did encounter a few minor issues. I've had it for about a month now. I'll make a bulleted list below to keep it short and break down my pros and cons: PROS: * 28" 4k display, 60Hz refresh * Good brightness/contrast * Multiple ports for connectivity (2nd generation) HDMI, 1 display port) and the ability to switch input. * Audio out (standard 1/8" jack, although I don't need it yet) * Basically everything came in the specs I bought it for. Be comfortable * The VESA mount (75mm x 75mm btw) located on the top edge of the monitor. * Minor PC issues. Turn off while you sleep and resize icons when you wake up. PROS STATEMENT: All the pros speak for themselves. Monitor does what it promises. I have took a screenshot of the display details in radeon settings (using R9 270x) if that matters to someone DISCLAIMER AGAINST: So, the included monitor stand is too short, the monitor can be 3" or 4" from the table top , meaning the top is about 18" from the tabletop. This led to me putting a few board game boxes inside to support it until I bought a monitor stand. The VESA mounting plate is not in the middle on the back of the display, as already mentioned, but offset upwards (see pictures). This is annoying for two reasons: my old monitor mount isn't tall enough to hold this anymore, and there's no way to rotate it sideways if I ever want to. To solve this problem, I bought a "table standing" monitor stand (search for "VIVO STAND-V011"). I found that about 22 inches above table height to VESA center was comfortable. The monitor is stable enough to swivel on a desk mount if you can lock the rotation, otherwise the shifted weight will cause it to recline. Minor PC issues: I ran into a few things. I'm using Windows 10 1803. * When the computer turns off the display after exiting, this monitor sees itself as disconnected and keeps trying to reconnect instead of just turning off. A little irritation. *But this leads to another problem: since the monitor thought it was "off", it was no longer the "primary" monitor for that brief moment, until you wake up the computer when it becomes primary again, and now my icons have resized and shrunk (I'll try to upload a comparison image later). OVERVIEW: My overall impression is that for $250 this is a decent monitor, especially with a 4k resolution at 28 inches. Prime Day, but it's a Revain monitor, not a monitor. I'm having a little computer problem right now which could be monitor related or just my setup 4/5 stars seems right If Samsung moves VESA and puts in a taller monitor stand I think that would be enough to give it 5 stars.
