Review on ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Waveshare 5.5inch HDMI AMOLED 1080x1920 Monitor with Capacitive Touch Screen, Toughened Glass Cover, and Multi-System Compatibility - Perfect for Raspberry Pi4 and Mini PCs by Brandy Miller

Revainrating 3 out of 5

This is 1080x1920, not 1920x1080

This is a very good display, but note that the native resolution is NOT 1920 x 1080, ie 1920 pixels WIDTH and 1080 pixels HEIGHT. Rather, it's 1080px HIGHT and 1920px WIDTH - more like a phone display than a computer display. If you use it as intended with a flexible device like a computer or PI, it doesn't matter as these devices can adapt. But if you're thinking of using this for something inflexible like a satellite receiver, set top box, DVD or BluRay player, or AHD to HDMI adapter (like me) it won't work, and unfortunately there are no jumpers or brackets. Set rotation by hardware. Again, this was not intentional, so this is not a criticism, just information.

Pros
  • Supports popular mini PCs such as Raspberry Pi as well as general desktop computers. 3.5mm audio jack, support HDMI audio output. M2.5 screw holes for easy mounting
Cons
  • Wrinkled
